LONDON, January 13, 2025: Oriole Networks is pleased to share that it is in the closing stages of securing prime office space in Palo Alto, California. This will be the third location for the company after the headquarters in London and an engineering hub in Paignton in the UK. It is a significant milestone in the growth strategy of the company and will facilitate building and strengthening relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the US. This effort will be supported locally by Yannick Lize who recently joined the Oriole Networks team as VP Product Line Management – Photonics. Yannick will be based out of the Palo Alto office, which is expected to come online at the beginning of February.
Oriole Networks is making great progress in scaling up the development of a solution that will address AI’s biggest challenges – speed, latency and sustainability. AI’s demand on energy is a well-known issue, putting a huge strain on energy grids in the US and Europe. Using advanced photonic technology, the Oriole Network’s solution allows LLMs to be trained 100X faster and algorithms to run with much lower latency. In this way, the Oriole solution can address the exponentially growing demand for AI computing power without sacrificing the planet, paving the way for faster, more efficient, more sustainable AI.
